About iNet - Network Scanner
BananaGlue is a family-owned software development company now in its second generation, based in Berlin. The founders' first tech start-up dates back to 1987, with a CD-ROM database retrieval system later acquired by Springer Verlag. BananaGlue itself was founded in 2008, inspired by the launch of the iPhone the year before.
The site is centered on iNet, the network scanner and toolbox app. The first iNet version for iPhone appeared in 2009, with some of its early code reportedly written at a Berlin fire station between call-outs.
Today it's positioned as a tool simple enough for casual users to get a clear overview of their network, yet robust enough that professionals rely on it for network management, available across Mac, iPhone, and iPad.

Impressive attention to detail
Spent some time with iNet - Network Scanner. iNet Netzwerkscanner und Toolbox für Mac, iPhone und iPad: iNet - Die Netzwerk Toolbox für Macintosh, iPhone und iPad. iNet zeigt alle im Netzwerk ang. Really well thought out - covers everything you need and the execution is solid. Pricing is fair for the value you get.
